Sir,
In answer to your letter of this date, I beg to state that four colored women were picked up by the French vessel Dupleix, as reported by the Harbor Master.

I don't think that any of the Missionary bodies here have branch Missions in Australia.
However, I am acquainted with the Representatives in Sydney of the R. Catholic Missions for the greater part of the Pacific Islands, such as Solomon Island, New Caledonia, Navigator Islands, Wallis Island, etc.
